“Yoga is not a work-out, it is a work-in.

And this is the point of spiritual practice; to make us teachable; to open up our hearts and focus our awareness so that we can know what we already know and be who we already are.” - Rolf Gates

Vinyasa

Often called “Flow”, Vinyasa is a style of yoga that coordinates movement with breath to flow from one posture to the next. Every vinyasa class is different and unique in it’s own way and helps energy flow in the body. Vinyasa classes range from 75-85 degrees and are for all-levels of yogi.

Power Vinyasa

Power Vinyasa turns up the heat with a bit more fast-paced class that focuses on building strength, increasing stamina, improving flexibility, and offering a challenge. Students are offered more advanced options to explore new poses and deepen their practice. Power classes are heated 80-90 degrees.

Aerial

Aerial yoga is style that uses fabrics or hammocks to perform poses in a sequenced class. Aerial hammocks can provide support to the body that might not be available in a typical class. Aerial also allows students to have fun while exploring poses in a new way and maybe flipping their perspective(and getting upside down, maybe!). Aerial classes are kept at 75 degrees.

Yin

Yin is a slower paced yoga style that holds postures for a longer period of time targeting the deep connective tissues of the body. This style offers poses to improve flexibility, and offer space for the body to relax into a pose. Yin classes hold poses from 1-5 minutes in a temperature of 75 degrees and are for all-levels of yogi.

L.I.I.T. Yoga

Low Intensity Interval Training or LIIT is a resistance training workout styled to shape the entire body. This workout uses resistance bands and weights through intervals, while incorporating yoga to challenge the body in all planes of motion. This class is heated to 75-80 degrees and is typically 60 minutes.

Restorative

Restorative yoga holds poses while the body is supported by props to allow students to completely relax and rest. Restorative classes typically include poses like light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. Restorative props can include blankets, pillows, bolsters, blocks, straps, and eye masks. Temperature is kept at a comfortable 75 degrees.
