Buffalo Chicken Nuggies
I have bit of an obsession with buffalo chicken. If you’ve gone out for a bite with me “on the reg” than you may have noticed my go-to is a buffalo chicken sandwich or wrap or salad, basically anything with buffalo chicken on it; even pizza because I love pizza(that’s my true #1). Anyways… I don’t like to be one of those recipes blogs that blabs on forever and you’re just scrolling past quickly looking for the recipe(ya know the ones) so just scroll past one more picture of these gorgeous nuggies and find out how to make them yourself! Super easy, 5 ingredients, and only 30 min total!
Ingredients:
2 chicken breasts
2 cups of flour
1 cup of Frank’s hot sauce(or sauce of your choosing)
2 cups of breadcrumbs(I like to use Italian, panko work too)
1/4 cup of avocado oil(you can use any oil, but avocado oil has one of the highest smoke points)
Instructions:
Cut chicken breasts into nuggie size pieces
Put flour, hot sauce, and breadcrumbs in 3 separate bowls or deep plates.
Dip chicken nuggie pieces in flour, then hout sauce, then breadcrumbs and set aside on dish.
Heat oil in deep pan on medium heat.
As oil and pan are hot, add coated nuggiess in one layer of the pan. Cook until slightly crispy, then flip. Let nuggies get crispy on all sides or until cooked through.
Depending on nuggie sizes, you can take a thicker one out and cut it in half to check if it’s cooked. Make sure there’s no pink.
Once nuggies are crispy and golden, remove from pan and onto a clean plate.
Serve with ranch, blue cheese or dipping sauce of your choice. Enjoy!
