Everyone loves potatoes… right?

Everyone loves potatoes. Potatoes can be prepared in so many different ways. This past week, I took some time to visit one of my favorite hidden gems in Annapolis.

Established in 1995; Potato Valley Cafe was originally a franchise from Sweden, but the owners decided it was time to bring Potato Valley Cafe to America. With over two decades of success, they continue to serve Annapolis, MD a variety of potatoes.

When I say there’s something fro everyone, I mean it. They have potatoes for your bacon or garlic lovers, but they also have vegetarian AND vegan options! Check out their menu online to see which loaded potato will be bringing you downtown.

Located around State Circle, their small outdoor seating has one of the best views in town with the state building standing tall in the background. A lovely view I got to enjoy when I visited this past week with Alexandra, foodie and operator of @annapolitan_eats on Instagram. We both got loaded potatoes, shared memories of going to potato valley after school, and soaked up some beautiful weather.

I devoured the cuban chicken potato, one of the cafe’s most popular menu items, loaded with cuban seasoned chicken, cheddar, chili lime sour cream, greens, chips, and more cheese, it’s my go-to potato to order. Alexandra enjoyed the bacon and cheddar potato with garlic butter and I’ll just say if you’re a bacon lover; this is the potato for you. No matter what your taste preferences, be sure to pop on over and check out this cute, cozy potato cafe.
